William Glenn Cozart, age 83, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Monday, December 1st, 2025 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Glenn was born on September 26th, 1942, to the late Andrew Foster Cozart and Mary Sue Stephenson Whitsett in West Point, TN. Glenn worked for Murray Ohio for over 43 years and also worked as a Dairy Farmer for 25 years. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed his life as a Beagle Houndsman and loved training and hunting with his Beagles, and spending time with his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Sue Cozart; son, William Allen Cozart; brothers, David Cozart, Tom Cozart, Kenneth McClaren, and Delbert McClaren.
He is survived by his children, Kathy Briceno (Nick) and Stacy Brooks (Jacob); Eight grandchildren: Eight great-grandchildren; Three step grandchildren; Two step great-grandchildren; brother, James A. “Jimmy” Cozart, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Deacon Kelvin Cozart and Brother Tim Gordon will be officiating.
Interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in West Point, TN.
