Tony Rogers passed away Thursday evening, November 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at NHC Pulaski. He was born in Decatur, Alabama on November 27, 1952 and was 72 years old.
Tony was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. One of his favorite things to do that he loved was spending time with his grandkids. He loved being a cattleman, trail riding, hunting, and enjoyed the outdoors. Tony enjoyed watching westerns and was a member of the East Hill Church of Christ. Tony retired from Frito Lay Pulaski in 2007 after 28 years, serving as the plant manager for the last 10 years of his employment.
A visitation was held from 10:00am until 1:00pm Monday, November 17, 2025, at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service was at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Kase Britton and Bro Mark Johnson officiating.
The entombment followed in Giles Memory Gardens.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Pauline Slayton Rogers. Son, Timothy Brian Rogers along with his in-laws Ray and Margaret Southerland.

Wife of 52 years, Debbie Southerland Rogers of Minor Hill, Tennessee, Son, Keith (Katie) Rogers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Daughter-in-law, Julie Tankersley Rogers of Minor Hill, Tennessee, Grandchildren, Emery and Samuel Rogers of Minor Hill, Tennessee, and Knox and Cecily Rogers of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Sister, Kathy (Ricky) Bue of Elkton, Tennessee.
Several nieces, cousins, and friends also survived.
