Elder Sabona S Trimble, age 87, was the son and only Child of the late William Henry Trimble and Lola Scott Crosby Trimble, departed this earthly life on February 21, 2026 at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Williamsport, TN. He was a member of Carver Smith High School's class of 1956 and a veteran of the United States Navy.
He worked for General Motors while residing in Oakland, CA. After returning to Tennessee he was an employment counselor for the State of Tennessee until he retired. He was a gifted pianist and saxophone player.
A Service of Love will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Mt Calvary Missionary Baptist Church's Educational Annex, Glade Street Columbia, Tn, the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 Noon. The Funeral Service will follow. Burial is scheduled to take place in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery McCory Lane Pegram, TN.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a half sister, Mrs. Ella B. Caety, Columbia, TN, His cousins, whom he considered as his siblings; Pam Crosby, Michelle Walker, Wayne Stovall, His very close cousin and care giver, Michael G. Webster,Jerry W. Webster, Charlene Webster Crosby, Loraine Webster (Harold) Taylor, Wanda Webster Browne,Henry Clay (Carletta) Webster, A very special and close friend that gave Sabona care., William Mark Armstrong, all of Columbia, TN.
