Rita Starr Jones

Rita Starr Jones of Pulaski, TN passed away Monday evening, August 25th, 2025, at her home in
Giles County surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Smithville, TN. on March 9th,1956
and was 69 years old.

Rita was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. For many years, Rita owned and operated
The Hair Designers beauty salon. In her younger years, Rita was an avid tennis player who
loved competition, and joy of the game. She leaves behind family and friends who will forever
cherish her memory and carry her love with them.

A private celebration of life will be held.

Rita was preceded in death by, her parents Jack and Evelyn Taylor.

She is survived by,
Her husband of 52 years, Randy Jones of Pulaski, TN.
Son, Randy Paul (Jessica) Jones Jr. of Athens, AL.
Daughter, Leah (Johnathan) Risner of Pulaski, TN.
Grandchildren, Ella Risner, Gabe Risner, and Judah Risner
Sisters, Fay (Kenneth) Web of Pulaski, TN.
Sherryl (Jimmy) Fox of Memphis, TN.
Jane Wilkerson of Lebanon, TN.
Brother, Jackie Taylor of Smithville, TN.
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
