Rickie Lee Tucker was born on December 29, 1960, in Pulaski, Tennessee, to the
late Rev. Riley and Iva Lou Tucker. He departed this life on September 3, 2025, at
the age of 64.
Rickie was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sandra Sizemore, Zollie
Johnson, and Mary Tucker.
He was a proud graduate of Giles County High School, Class of 1981. Known for
his love of college football and basketball, Rickie could often be found enjoying a
cold Sundrop while cheering on his favorite teams. He had a gift for making
others laugh, a heart for his friends and family, and a personality that could light
up any room. To many, he was known as ‘Ole Rickie Theus,’ a man whose
presence and laughter made him the life of the party.
At an early age, Rickie accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In the early
2000s, under the leadership of Rev. Ralph Marshall of First Missionary Baptist
Church Elkmont in Elkmont, AL, he accepted his calling into the ministry,
faithfully serving God and others.
Rickie leaves behind to cherish his memory:
