Marjorie Gail Jones, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Thursday, October 16th, 2025 at her home in Lawrenceburg. Gail was born on February 29th, 1936 to the late Horace and Thula May White. Gail worked for several years at Salant & Salant before moving to a full-time homemaker, caring for her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, gardening, and spending time with her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Jones; daughter, Cathy Braden; 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Jones and Jim Jones; grandchildren, Chuck Braden (Sofia), Cody Braden (Mallory), Mark Jones, and Lisa Clark; great grandchildren, Charley, Ezra, Ryan, Bailey, and Kennedy; great-great grandchildren, Bryson; several nieces and nephews; canine companion, Mia.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Monday, October 20th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Monday, October 20th, 2025 beginning at 1:00 p.m. Brother Jeff Toungette will be officiating.
Interment will be held at Center Point Methodist Cemetery.
