Linda George Drummond, age 75, of Mt. Pleasant, TN, passed away on Thursday, September 25th, 2025 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Lawrenceburg. Linda was born on July 29th, 1950 to the late Stanley E. George and UV Pennington George in Rugby, North Dakota. Linda worked for many years as an RN for TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN, before retiring in 2011. After retirement, she would go on to be a home health nurse for many years in the southern Tennessee area. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time at the Amish markets, tending to her canine companions, and spending time with her loving family and friends.
She was a member of Summertown Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Van Drummond.
She is survived by her sister, Juanita Ray (Jim); nephew, Anthony Ray (Becky); great nephew, Declan Ray (Jenna); great-great niece, Shelby Blaine Ray.
The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the loving staff of NHC Columbia, The staff of STRHS, and the EMS team for all the care and compassion they were provided.
A private memorial service will be announced at a later time.
