James Thomas Lochridge

James Thomas Lochridge, age 69, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Survivors include his daughters, Kim West and husband Bill Bob, Kelly Swindell and husband Tol, and Kami Harvey and husband Brent, his parents, James Lewis and Martha Lucille Murphy Lochridge, his brothers, Tim and Randy Lochridge, his grandchildren,Bayley, Landry, Brody West & Kennedy Roller (Jacob), Tol, Yates, & Knox Swindell, Trace, Kruiz, Lync, Keeyz & Kross Harvey, and his beloved friend of 8 years, Sheri Bradley.

Jim, as he was known by, was born to James and Lucy Lochridge on February 2, 1956 in Spring Hill, TN. He grew up working hard on his parents' farm that is now a working century farm. He graduated from Spring Hill High School, and went on to earn an Associate's Degree from Columbia State Community College. His children have fond memories of Jim talking them to Tim’s Ford Lake, teaching them to ski, tubing and going fishing. They had a wonderful childhood raising cattle, numerous other animals and loved playing on the Lochridge farm in Spring Hill. In his younger years, Jim farmed various crops, and grew tobacco in which his children also participated. He loved fishing, bird hunting, and being outdoors. He worked at General Electric in Columbia, TN from 1973-1994 and was a manager there. After his time at GE, he worked at Gabriel Manufacturing in Pulaski, TN, and ran a lawn care business. Upon his retirement, he resided in Lawrenceburg, TN.
