Connie Lynn Blackwell

Connie Lynn Blackwell of the Pleasant Hill Community, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pulaski, TN on December 9, 1959 and was 65 years old. Connie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and her granddaughters were her love and joy.  She was born and raised in Giles County. She loved to do crafts and painting and especially with her granddaughters, baking especially for her family and loved to bake all kinds of sweet treats, she was a florist, and most of all her all-time favorite thing to do was to spoil her family. Connie’s favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved Christmas season. One of the many places Connie loved to travel to was to the Smokey Mountains. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 10:00am until 11:00am at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will follow on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Piece Funeral Home.

The burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Mattie Lee Hinkle Hargrove, Jr., first husband, Toney Dugger, brother-in-law, Don Baugher, and Jack Martin, niece, Kimberly Butler, and nephew, Dennis Ferguson.

She is survived by, 
Her husband, Lane Blackwell of the Pleasant Hill Community.
Daughter, Shannon (Gurv) Mangat of Aurora, CO
Granddaughters, Priya and Kiran Mangat 
Sisters, Joyce Baugher of Prospect, TN
Mary Martin of Elkmont, AL
Janie (Dodie) Butler of Madison, AL
Brothers, Kenneth (Patricia) Hargrove of Prospect, TN
Ricky Hargrove of Prospect, TN 
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
