William Robert “Bill” Davis, age 83, of Joelton, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at Brookdale Memory Care in Clarksville, TN. Bill was born on February 11th, 1943 to the late Ewing Ray Davis and Freda Davis in Corpus Cristi, TX. Bill worked for many years for Nashville Electric Service, serving as the head of the fleet service before retiring in 2015. In his spare time, he enjoyed working outdoors, watching movies, working on his cars, spending time with his loving family, friends, and canine companions. He was of Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Vera Rae Davis Harborth.
He is survived by his son, Samuel Cody Davis (Haley); brother, Glenn Davis (Karin); nephews, Glenn Edward Davis II (Tasha) and David Harborth; niece, Missy Bates, and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Thursday, April 16th, 2026 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Brother Tony Gordy will be officiating.
