Rosa May of Hazel, KY went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 31st, 2025.
Rosa was born in Pikeville, KY to Jack and Elizabeth Keathley on June 12, 1927. She married Cecil May in January
of 1945.
They had five children, Janice, Eugene, Gary, Donald, and Roy. 10 grandchildren, 7
great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Rosa loved to garden, play bingo, and spend time at flea markets. You were blessed if you received one of her beautiful quilts.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil May and son, Eugene May.
Rosa will be laid to rest at New Salem Cemetery in Lester, AL on Wednesday, September 3rd,
2025 with a graveside service being held at 1:00pm.
