
Perry Chatman, Sr., age 79 of Pulaski, passed away Monday June 16,
2025 at his residence.
Perry was born in Columbia, TN on January 13, 1946 to Melvin and
Mary Potts Chatman. He was self employed as a painter who enjoyed
the simple things in life such as going fishing, frog gigging, and spending
time with his grandchildren. Perry is preceded in death by his parents
Melvin and Mary Chatman; wife of 16 years Louise Chatman; brothers
Runt, Monk, and Bud Chatman; sisters Sue Berry and Ruby Davidson.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Tuesday June 24, 2025 at Carr and
Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for 1pm on
Wednesday June 25, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with
interment to follow in Friendship Cemetery.
Perry is survived by his sons Leonard “Peppy” Chatman (Candy) of
Prospect, Melvin Chatman of Pulaski; brothers Henry Chatman of
Culleoka, Joe Chatman of Pulaski, and James Chatman of Columbia;
sister Nancy Foster (Clyde) of Columbia; grandchildren David, Leonard
“PT”, Cheyenne, Mary, Holly, Brianna, Harley; great grandchildren
Lorelai, Morrow, David “DJ”, Jacoby, Presley, Copper, and Ruby; as well
as other relatives and friends.
