James (Butch) Pettus Menefee, Jr., 69, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Menefee was born on May 27th, 1956, in Huntsville, AL, to James and Faye (Throneberry) Menefee.
Mr. Menefee is survived by his children, Zelda Menefee and Julianna Menefee; half-brother, Dustin Menefee (Andrea); and cousin, Stan Menefee (Shaviny).
Butch grew up in Athens, AL, and attended East Limestone High School. He worked in radio broadcast for over forty years, serving as the voice of WTKI, WKAC, and WKSR. He was devout Vanderbilt fan and a loving Christian.
Memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, in Pulaski, TN, at a later date.
