Iris Verice Brown

Iris Verice Brown of Pulaski, TN passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025. She was born on
January 4th , 1962 and was 63 years old.
Iris was a loving mother and Te-Te. She was a spirited fan of the Tennessee Titans and Alabama
Crimson Tide. Her love for her family and children was fierce and unwavering. An amazing
cook whose meals brought people together and a legendary spades partner who never backed
down from a good game.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th , 2025 at 12:00pm in the chapel of
Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
Iris was preceded in death by, her mom, Hedy Brown, and father, Lee Andrew Brown Jr.,
grandmothers, Annie Louise Cox and Katie Patterson, grandfathers, Riley Carden and Lee
Andrew Brown Sr., brothers, Dale and Roderick Brown, sister, Mela Perry and niece, Amanda
Brown
She is survived by,
Her son, DeMarcus Brown of Murfreesboro, TN
Daughter, Mela (Milan) Bozickaic of Smyrna, TN
Siblings, Kenneth Brown Sr., Jimmy (Jan) Wilson, Rickie Brown, Lee Andrew (Merron) Brown III,
Alfred (Sylvia) Brown, and Stephanie Brown.
A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, grands, and friends also survive.
