Helen Fay Harwell

Helen Fay Harwell of the Frankewing community, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at her home in Giles County surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lincoln County, Tennessee on May 1, 1945, and was 80 years old.
Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She found joy in cooking for her family, who was the center of her world. A devoted Tennessee Vols and Titans fan, she loved cheering on her teams. She also enjoyed watching hummingbirds while on the porch of her farm.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ermon Hawell, her parents Edward Earl and Mable Bryant Douthit, son-in-law, Randall Garner, brothers, Dan and Tommy Douthit.
