Harriet Lois Whitfield Cheatham

Mrs. Harriet Lois Whitfield Cheatham of Pulaski was born on June 6, 1927 in
Pulaski, Tennessee to the late Lewis Whitfield, mother, Sallie Daugherty and stepfather,
Charlie Daugherty. She transitioned to her eternal rest on July 30, 2025.
Mrs. Lois Cheatham was educated at Broadview Elementary School and Bridgeforth High
School. She was a proud graduate of the class of 1947.
She was a lifelong and faithful member of Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church.
After her graduation she worked various jobs before retirement.
Mrs. Lois Cheatham is preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather.
She is survived by one son, Marcus Randall Whitfield of Pulaski, TN; Uncle, Alex Harwell
Sr. also of Pulaski, TN; Cousins, Beth and Leon Cole of Detroit, MI, Ann Roy Moore of
New Market, AL and James Roy of Florence, AL; Close family friend, Anthony Greene of
Antioch, TN; God-daughter, Rosetta Smith and husband Marcus Smith of Nashville, TN;
her Po-Ke-No and Bingo Friend Group and a host of other relatives and close friends.
Public Viewing for Mrs. Lois Cheatham will be held Monday, August 4, 2025 from 5:00pm
until 7:00pm at Jordan Funeral Home, 327 Mill Street, Pulaski, TN.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 5, 2025 beginning with visitation at 11am and the
12noon service immediately following at Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church, 311 Mill Street,
Pulaski, TN.
Interment will be in Agnew Cemetery on Old Agnew Road.
