Gregory Kent Rost

Gregory Kent Rost, age 77 of Pulaski, passed away Friday August 1, 2025
at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Greg was born January 13, 1948 in Pulaski, Tn to Duane G. and Mary Elise
Abernathy Rost. He was a member of East Hill Church of Christ, member
of the Civitan Club, an Eagle Scout and former Scout Leader. Greg enjoyed
life, he loved eating catfish, watching his granddaughter Mia play ball and
he was his granddaughter Allie’s outside buddy. In his spare time his hobby
was hiking, he loved making hiking walking sticks and even got the
privilege of doing a 500 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail. Greg was
preceded in death by his parents Duane and Elise Rost, and his sister-in-
law Sylvia Potts.
Visitation will be Wednesday August 6, 2025 from 4-7 pm at Carr & Erwin
Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be 11am Thursday August 7, 2025 at
Maplewood Cemetery with interment to follow.
Survivors include his wife of 55 yrs. Judy Rost of Pulaski, daughter Tarra
Callahan (Len) of Pulaski, son Brent Rost of Goodspring, brothers Ray
Rost of Pulaski, Keith Rost (Theresa) of Lawrenceburg, grandchildren
Peyton Callahan, Mia Callahan, Parker Rost, Allie Rost, and sister-in-law
Rita Swann (Albert) of Florida.
