Derrick Lamont Trotter, age 55, departed this life on May 27, 0926. He was a graduate of Giles County High School, worked as a custodian and was of the Baptist faith.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 1, 2026 at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church 30365 Bob Coffman Road Veto, AL, beginning at 11:00 a.m.- 12 Noon, The funeral will follow with the Rev. Ollie McWilliams officiating. Burial will be in the Payne Cemetery, Veto, AL.
Survivors are his father, Buford “Larry” Holt, Louisville, KY, siblings, Statory Trotter and Stacy Trotter, Elkton, TN. Two Uncles James Trotter and Clarence Trotter and a host of other relatives and friends.
