David Steven Cobain, 65, died on February 27, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Thomas Cobain II, and Jo-Ann (Redding) Cobain. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Renee (Davis, Guarino), Cobain, and his daughter, Moriah Cobain. David is survived by his son, Jared Cobain, and by his brothers, Bruce, Aaron, Greg, and Brian, and his sister, Cathleen (Cobain) Probst.
Although David grew up in Jackson, NJ, he and his wife and two children moved to Pulaski, TN in the mid-1990's. David was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and served as a volunteer full-time minister for six years. He also participated in disaster relief work. David loved photography, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.
His funeral will be held on April 11, at 1:00 pm at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The address is: 1115 West Whitty Rd., Toms River, NJ 08753.
