David Leamon Kirby, Jr.

David Leamon Kirby, Jr., age 57, of Cornersville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. He was born on November 15, 1968, in Giles County, Tennessee, and was the first child born to the late David L. Kirby, Sr. and Nedra Johnson Trebing.

David was raised in Pulaski, Tennessee, and was a graduate of Giles County High School, Class of 1987. He later attended Martin Methodist College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was a faithful member of Choates Creek United Methodist Church.

David enjoyed fishing, farming, gardening, spending time with his family, and following sports, especially the University of Tennessee Volunteers. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his former wife, Della Whitworth Corbin.

Survivors include his daughter, Kyndall Kirby Baltimore, and Brandon Tharpe, both of Pulaski; grandchildren, Kymberli Baltimore, Kyndra Stokes, Kirby Tharpe, and Isabella Tharpe; his brother, Jonathan Kirby and wife, Heather, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; his niece and nephews, Joshua Kirby, Hannah Kirby, Matthew Kirby, and John Kirby; his stepmother, Donna Kirby; and stepsisters, Marissa Massey and Leslie Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at BennettMay & Pierce Funeral Home.

David will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his personality, and his love for the simple joys of life.
