Carolyn Jean Coffman Ashford of Prospect passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at her home in Giles County. She was born in Lester Alabama on March 12, 1944 and was 81 years old. Carolyn Jane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was devoted to taking care of her family. Loved sitting on the porch, watching TV especially football and NASCAR.
A graveside service will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 10:00am at the Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Ashford officiating.
Memorial donations are suggested to Oak Grove Cemetery Fund, % Dean Hughes, 906 Nance Road, Pulaski, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Coffman and Lynnette Keith Williams, husband Willard Dean Ashford, daughter Kathy Ashford, sisters Dorothy Coffman and Linda Johnson.
She is survived by her; Son, “Bo” (Brenda) Ashford of Stella Community. Grand-daughters, Hannah and Sarah Ashford of Stella Community.
Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
