Ann Sherrill Reedy of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away on April 14, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 19, 1946, and was 79 years old. Ann Sherrill was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Ann spent many years serving as librarian at Southside Elementary School. Her passion for education extended beyond the library, as she also played a meaningful role in the vo-tech program at Giles County High School. Ann was deeply committed to helping students reach their full potential. She also worked as a secretary at Henry and Henry Law Firm. In 1969, Ann was honored as the Outstanding Young Career Woman of Tennessee, a testament to her drive, leadership, and dedication. Ann found great joy in gardening and flowers. She cherished time spend with her family, especially her grandchildren. Family vacations were never just trips—they were opportunities to learn and grow. Ann was known for always having a thoughtful list of activities, ensuring her grandchildren not only had fun but also learned something meaningful along the way. She was a faithful member of Second Street Church of Christ where she was a children’s teacher for more than 48 years.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will take place Monday, April 20, 2026, at 11:00am at Second Street Church of Christ.
The burial will be in Giles Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Second Street Church of Christ Youth Program or St. Judes.
Ann was preceded in death by, her parents, Guy Russell Moore and Anna Lou Moore.
She is survived by,
Her husband, Roger Reedy of Pulaski, TN.
Sons, Roger Dale (Kim) Reedy II of Lynnville, TN.
Robert Scott (Carol) Reedy of Pulaski, TN.
Grandchildren, Lacey Caroline, Emma Gail, Kacey Lynn, Levi Dale, Melanie Kate, and Brian Thomas Reedy.
Special Family, Angie (Eric) Laws, Lauren Laws, and McKaylan Laws
Brother, Robert Guy (Janet) Moore of Birmingham, AL
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
