Albert Doyle Walls, a cherished husband, father, brother, and beloved patriarch, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, in Hammond, Louisiana. Born on October 28, 1937 in Pulaski, Tennessee, Doyle lived a life marked by dedication to his family and a spirit that touched all those who knew him. Doyle's journey began as the son of Newt Walls and Eliza Roberts, and later under the guidance of his stepfather, Glenn Roberts. Though these beloved family members preceded him in passing, their legacies remained an enduring part of Doyle’s story, woven deeply into the fabric of his life.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Linda N. Walls, whose steadfast love was a beacon throughout their life together. Their union was blessed with five children: the late Kathy Douglas (Don), Judy Howard (Bill), Lisa Walls, Eddie Walls, and the late, Chad Walls. Each child carries forward Doyle's values and warmth, reflections of his nurturing heart and unfailing commitment. He also leaves behind his brother Wayne Walls (Delores).
Doyle's family blossomed further with the arrival of grandchildren, Amanda Douglas, Leslie Knight (Ben), David Pittmam (Ashley), Brett Howard, Miranda Walls, Taylor Walls (Haleigh), Seth Walls, Zach Walls. These cherished young lives were enriched immensely by Albert’s wisdom, kindness, and gentle guidance. The circle of love extended even more broadly to his great-grandchildren—Noah Pittman, Ethan Walls, Emma Knight, Thomas Knight, James Knight and Hunter Walls—who were fortunate to know the light of their great-grandfather’s presence.
Doyle's life was one of heartfelt connections and enduring love. His passing leaves a profound void that echoes through the hearts of his family and friends. Yet, within that sorrow, there is deep gratitude for the times shared and the legacy of love he leaves behind.
Although words fall short in capturing the entirety of Albert Doyle Walls, we remember him as a man whose life was rich with meaning, marked by quiet strength, unwavering devotion, and a heart that embraced each member of his family with boundless affection. He will be dearly missed, remembered forever, and honored always by those whose lives he so deeply touched.
