Violet Faye West

Violet Faye West, age 78, went to her eternal reward on February 21, 2026. She was born on January 23, 1948, and lived a life devoted to her faith, her family, and serving others. Violet was a faithful member of Lifepoint Pentecostal Church in Pulaski. As a pastor’s wife, she faithfully served alongside her husband and traveled with him in evangelistic ministry for many years until his passing. Her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived and in her dedication to ministry and service. She worked for LeeMar Shirt Company until its closing and then devoted herself fully to her home and family. Violet found great joy in sewing, shopping, and traveling. She had the opportunity to travel throughout the United States and several other countries, creating cherished memories along the way. More than anything, Violet loved her family. She took immense pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and nothing brought her greater happiness than time spent with them.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Isom Wade West; her parents, James Lawson and Elizabeth Moore Newman; her brother, Thomas Newman; her sister, Betty Ann Bates; and her son-in-law, Dale Hanks.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Hanks, Sherry West (Jerry Nicholson), and Kelley Pardon (Edward); eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February, 23, 2026 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Lifepoint Pentecostal Church in Pulaski.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00am at Lifepoint Pentecostal Church in Pulaski.

Burial will follow in Gatlin Cemetey in Ardmore, AL

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lifepoint Pentecostal Church Building Fund or to Lifepoint Ladies Ministries.
