Penelope (Penny) Owens passed on October 3, 2026 at Southern TN Regional
Health Care System in Pulaski. She was the daughter of Eddie and Geneva Rivers
Owens of Pulaski. She had many friends and most people knew her as Penny.
She attended school in Pulaski and was employed in the field of food service as
well as clerical positions. She was a member of Greater Faith Christian Church
Survivors are: Parents, Eddie and Geneva Owens, Daughter, Shakeema Martin,
Grandson: Xzorion Randolph and Granddaughter, Nia Martin, Sister Janice Owens,
Brother, Charles Owens, her former husband Johnny Woods who remained a
special friend through out her life, Aunt, Linder Young, Uncles: James (Pam)
Rivers, and Wilson (Vesta) Rivers, numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Greater Faith
Christian Church the funeral service at 12:00 noon and burial to follow at Rocky
Point Cemetery in the Chicken Creek Community.
The New Beginning Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Penelope
“Penny” Owens.
