Paul Edmond Johnson

Paul Edmond Johnson, age 44, of Spring Hill, TN, passed
away Friday, October 9 th , 2026. Paul was born on
November 22 nd , 1981 in Stoughton, Massachusetts. Paul
proudly served his country in the United States Army
where he honed his skills as a small wheel mechanic.
After military life and college, he worked for many years at
CarMax where he excelled as an ASE Certified Mechanic;
earning the highest honor of President’s Club. In addition
to this, he served as a recruiter seeking out post
deployment Army veterans for employment for CarMax. In
his spare time, he enjoyed working on his families’ cars,
being a gearhead, watching movies, riding his motorcycle
with family, and spending time with his loving family and
friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Edmond
Johnson, and his uncle, Jay J. Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Erik Johnson; daughter, Luna
Johnson; mother, Karen Johnson (Jeffrey); brothers, Joel
Johnson and Tim Johnson (Samantha); sisters, Patricia
Johnson and Krystal Johnson; grandfather, Lee Thomson;
mother of his son, Tonya Johnson; mother of his daughter,
Maleesha Cassidy; nieces and nephews, Nick, Courtney
(Isaiah), Brody, Owen, Rylee, and Lily; great nephew,
Shiloh and one expected nephew.
A celebration of life service will be held at New Prospect
Baptist Church, in Lawrenceburg, TN. The service will be

on Saturday, October 17 th , 2026 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Brother Greg Morris will be officiating.
