Milton Hood, age 85 of Goodspring, passed away Friday December 12, 2025 at STRHS in Pulaski. Milton was born July 3, 1940 in the Shores community to Nathan and Chloe Morris Hood. He retired from Stanley Tools where he was employed for 40yrs. Milton’s favorite past times were hunting, fishing, digging ginseng, and watching his son Mark play ball. Later in life he enjoyed mowing and weed-eating every chance he could get.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents Nathan and Chloe Hood, daughter Darla Gayle Story, sisters Joyce Hood McCluskey, Lyla Pearl Barns, brothers Charles Hubert Hood, and Morris Wayne Hood.
Graveside service will be 2 pm Saturday January 10, 2026 at Old Shores Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 65yrs. Cora Lee Hood of Goodspring, son Mark Hood of Goodspring, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
