Mary Jane Cardin

Mary Jane Cardin of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away on April 16, 2026, NHC of Pulaski, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on January 12, 1927, and was 99 years old.

Mary Jane was a loving mother and grandmother.  She was a farmer for her whole life.  Her commitment to agriculture extended beyond her own farm, as she faithfully served on the Farm Bureau Board of Directors for over 30 years. Mary Jane was also a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church, where her faith was an important part of her daily life.  Above all, Mary Jane cherished her family.  She found her greatest joy in the time spent working on the farm and with her loved ones.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

An additional visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church or New Zion Baptist Church.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by, her husband, Robert F “Cuz” Cardin, parents, Jesse and Edith Paisley Todd, sister, Luan Surles, and son, Monty James Cardin.

She is survived by,

Grandchildren, Casey (Bethe) Cardin of Pulaski, TN

                             Corey (Danielle) Cardin of Lewisburg, TN

                             Chase Cardin of Pulaski, TN

                             Elizabeth Cardin of Pulaski, TN

4 great grandchildren also survive.
