Harris Lavoyd “Buddy” Seymore, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 11th, 2026 at his home in Lawrenceburg. Buddy was born on November 23rd, 1941 to the late Huel J. Seymore and Velma Louise Adams Seymore in Leoma, TN. Buddy worked for many years as an appliance repair technician across Lawrence and the surrounding counties. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting arrowheads, walking and spending time outdoors, and spending time with his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Sue Seymore, and his brother, Huel “Jacky” Seymore.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelley Seymore; grandchildren, Megan Huskey and Jamie Huskey (Tiffany); great grandchildren, Weston Huskey, Hunter Risner, Zayley Huskey, Brayson Huskey, Finley Huskey, and Noah Huskey.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
