Danny Wayne Martin, 71, of Campbellsville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026. Danny was born August 9, 1954 in Tullahoma, TN. He was a proud meat cutter/butcher for his career, spending most of his career with Kroger and ending with Johnson’s Foods in Pulaski, TN. He spent many years volunteering his time as a coach for various junior league sports teams in the Giles Country area. Danny was an avid music and dog lover. Every night, at 5:00PM, he carved out time to feed his fish and listen to the news on WKSR.
Danny was preceded in death by his father Thelbert Martin, grandparents Oscar and Ruth Daughtry and Ernest and Lula Martin, and brother Brian Martin.
He would have celebrated 50 years of marriage to Rosemary Dunavant Martin, who survives. Also surviving is his mother, Montra Sue Martin; sons Alan (Tiffany) Martin and Matthew (Melissa) Martin; grandchildren Lukas, Harper, Henry, and Louise Martin; brother Ricky (Amy) Martin; sisters Kathy (Doug) Bassham and Renee (Jack) Reynolds; dog Willie; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family invites you to visit with them for moments of remembrance at Campbellsville United Methodist Church (10601 Campbellsville Road, Pulaski, TN 38478), where Danny was a proud and active member, on Wednesday, April 22, any time between the hours of 10:00AM and 1:00PM with the funeral service to follow.
