    Barry Lee Pigg, age 71, of Pulaski, Tennessee, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family, on May 2, 2026. 
    Barry was born in Lincoln County, TN on October 28, 1954. Barry was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid outdoorsman and a loyal fan of the UT Vols. He retired from the United States Postal Service in September 2019, after 40 years of dedicated service. Barry Was a faithful member and deacon at Fairview Church of Christ. His love of Christ was evident in all that he did, especially in the way he loved his family. Barry married Marshia Ann Fox on October27, 1978. They were married for 47 years and together they had two children Bryan and Anna.

    The family suggest memorial donation be made in Barry’s name to Fairview Church of Christ c/o 1765 industrial Loop Road  Pulaski, TN  38478 or the American Liver Foundation c/o PO Box 229 West Orange, New Jersey  07052. (Americanliverfoundation.org) 

    Barry was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Lee and Grace Marie Logue Pigg.

    He is survived by,
    His wife of 47 years, Marshia Ann Fox Pigg of Pulaski, Tennessee.
    Son, Bryan Lee (Allison) Pigg of Athens, Alabama.
    Daughter, Anna Carter of Pulaski, Tennessee.
    Sister, Marsha (Mickey) Dyce of Chapmansboro, Tennessee.
    Brother, Tim (Linda) Pigg of Petersburg, Tennessee.
    Grandchildren, Logan Lee Pigg of Athens, AL, Lawson James Pigg of Athens, AL, Sarah Lauren Pigg of Athens, AL, Madelyn Grace Carter of Pulaski, TN, and Lauren Elizabeth Carter of Pulaski, TN.
    Several nieces, and nephews also survive.

    A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

    The funeral service will begin on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory with a short visitation at 10:00am prior to the services.

    The interment immediately following at Giles Memory Gardens.

    Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Barry Lee Pigg.
