For the second consecutive year, the University of Tennessee Southern’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program achieves the #1 ranking on RegisteredNursing.org 2026 Best Nursing Schools in Tennessee listing.

Prior to this year’s ranking, the UT Southern BSN program reached a remarkable milestone, recording a 100% first-time pass rate on the National Council Licensure Examination for the fifth consecutive year. The National Council Licensure Examination is the national licensing examination required for graduates to become registered nurses and serves as one of the most important indicators of nursing program quality and student preparedness.
