Pulaski, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee Southern is collecting gently used professional clothing to help students prepare for the next step in their careers.
The Career Closet Program, organized by the university’s Department of Professional Services, gives students access to free business attire for job interviews, internships, and career fairs, ensuring they can look and feel confident as they enter the workforce.
Donations are currently being accepted at The Nest Spirit Shop on the UT Southern campus. Items requested include suits, blazers, dress shirts, blouses, slacks, skirts, dresses, belts, and ties. All clothing must be clean and in good condition.
Those wishing to contribute can contact flightpathstudio@utsouthern.edu to schedule a drop-off time.
Organizers say the program not only helps students with limited resources but also strengthens the sense of community between the university and local supporters.
By giving back through the Career Closet, donors are helping UT Southern students take the next step toward success.
