PULASKI, Tenn. - The UT Southern Firehawks Clay Target Team brought home a fourth-place finish at the ACUI Central Midwest Championships held in Sparta, Illinois.
The Firehawks posted an impressive team score of 2,084 targets, finishing just 13 shy of third place behind Fort Hays State, Hillsdale College, and Emmanuel University.
Highlights from the weekend included Ben Yarbrough’s perfect 50 out of 50 in doubles trap, along with consistent performances in skeet, trap, and sporting clays across the roster.
This strong showing continues UT Southern’s growing reputation in collegiate clay target competition.
