GILES COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies with the Giles County Sheriff’s Office made a significant drug-related arrest following a routine patrol in the southern part of the county on Friday, July 19.
Deputies say they observed a vehicle traveling with a major safety concern and initiated a stop. Upon contacting the driver and passenger, an investigation led to the discovery of more than 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and other items commonly associated with drug distribution.
As a result, Edward Harney and Estella Clay were both arrested and face charges related to the incident.
The Giles County Sheriff’s Office encourages anyone with information about drug activity or other crimes to come forward.
