GILES COUNTY, TN – The Giles County Sheriff's Department, along with members of the 22nd Judicial Drug Task Force, executed a search warrant on July 8, 2025, at a residence located in the 100 block of Ella West Circle in Lynnville.
Following the search, Jonathan Abernathy Jr. was taken into custody. He faces multiple charges, including:
Two counts of Manufacturing, Delivering, Selling, or Possession of a Controlled Substance
One count of Manufacture, Delivery, Sale or Possession of Methamphetamines
One count of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm
One count of Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Dangerous Felony
One count of Simple Possession
One count of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia
Authorities released photos showing evidence recovered at the scene, including a firearm and suspected narcotics.
The sheriff’s department extended thanks to their law enforcement partners for assisting in the operation and reminded the public that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
