GILES COUNTY, Tenn. - Richland School in Lynnville is one of 179 schools and youth organizations to receive funding in the Tennessee Valley Authority’s first-ever robotics awards program.
The school was awarded $5,000 through TVA and Bicentennial Volunteers, Inc. to grow its robotics program, money that can be used for new equipment, expanded team opportunities, or classroom technology that supports STEM learning.
TVA officials say the initiative is designed to give students hands-on experience with robotics and coding, skills that are increasingly in demand in today’s workforce.
Richland’s award was made possible through TVA’s partnership with Pulaski Electric System, underscoring the importance of local support in bringing high-quality educational programs to Giles County students..
