PULASKI, Tenn. - On Saturday, May 10, 2025, the Pulaski community gathered at Hillcrest Country Club for the inaugural Milk & Honey Gala, a landmark event hosted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Tennessee. The evening celebrated local heroes and raised funds for a new clubhouse to serve over 180 youth annually.
The highlight of the gala was the announcement of Mary Bryant Boyd as the 2025 Hero of the Year. Boyd, a licensed aesthetician in downtown Pulaski, was honored for her exceptional fundraising efforts and dedication to the club's mission. Her campaign stood out among six candidates, including Makenna Edde, David Wamble, Brad Phillips, and Ashley Coleman, all of whom contributed significantly to the cause.
The Milk & Honey Gala featured live music, entertainment, and community engagement, with proceeds directed toward constructing a new, expanded clubhouse in Pulaski. This facility aims to provide a safe and enriching environment for local youth, focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development.
Community support was evident through generous donations.
