PULASKI, Tenn. - Two people are arrested and charged in connection with a fraud investigation. The Giles County Sheriff's Department says they received a call from a local electrical contractor who stated he completed his second phase of work on a new build at a property located off of Little Dry Creek Road in Pulaski.
The Sheriff's department says the contractor entered into an agreement with a man who identified himself as John Fritts. Officials believe the man is actually Nicholas Scott Barnes. The Sheriff's Department says the contractor has not been paid for any of the work he completed since the investigation begun.
The Sheriff's Department has been made aware of at least two other contractors who have also not been paid after completing work at the property.
On June 11th, Nicholas Scott Barnes and Ashley Nicole Barnes were arrested for charges related to the investigation. Nicholas Barnes also had an outstanding warrant out of New York.
It is believed there are additional victims involved. If you are a contractor who completed work for Ashley Barnes, Nicholas Barnes, or John Fritts on Little Dry Creek Road and have not been paid, please contact Investigator Almada at 931-363-3505.
