GILES COUNTY, Tenn. - Giles County Schools is continuing to highlight the impact of arts education, both in the classroom and across the community, with a special focus during March’s Arts in Our Schools Month.
Throughout the district, students have been showcasing their talents through visual art displays, musical performances, and dance presentations. School leaders say these opportunities not only allow students to express themselves creatively, but also help build confidence, discipline, and collaboration skills.
The district credits its team of dedicated arts educators for fostering that creativity year-round, ensuring students at every level have access to meaningful experiences in art, music, and dance.
The celebration will continue with the 4th Annual Giles County Arts Showcase, set for May 11th at 5:00 p.m. at Giles County High School. The event will feature student work and performances from across the county, giving the community a chance to see firsthand the talent being developed in local schools.
Organizers say the showcase is open to the public and encourages families and community members to attend and support the arts in Giles County.
