GILES COUNTY, Tenn. - The Giles County Animal Shelter is preparing for its Second Annual Silent Night, a holiday foster program aimed at giving shelter dogs a warm place to spend Christmas.
A Silent Night Open House and foster pickup event will be held Sunday, December 21, from 12–2 p.m. at the shelter on Bennett Drive in Pulaski.
Guests can meet dogs available for fostering, enjoy holiday treats, and drop off donations such as toys, blankets, food, and towels. Approved fosters may pick up their dogs during the event window.
Shelter staff say every holiday foster home helps reduce kennel stress and gives each pet a chance to experience comfort and companionship during Christmas.
