GILES COUNTY, Tenn. — Longtime local leader and business owner David Wamble has officially announced his candidacy for Giles County Executive in the 2026 election.
A seventh-generation Giles Countian, Wamble brings a broad range of public service, business, and educational experience to the table. He is currently serving his second term on the Giles County Commission and previously served four years on the Giles County School Board.
In addition to his public service, Wamble spent 15 years with United Parcel Service before founding Wamble Heating and Air, a company he has owned and operated for the past 20 years. He also currently teaches part-time at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) in Pulaski.
Wamble’s campaign emphasizes his strong roots in the community and a commitment to moving Giles County forward. His platform highlights include investing in local growth, strengthening infrastructure, and supporting education and workforce development.
