PULASKI, Tenn. — Two longtime staples of the Pulaski community were honored Monday for their remarkable contributions and longevity.
The Pulaski Evening Rotary Club held a special recognition ceremony to celebrate its first-ever Century Businesses—local establishments that have served Giles County for more than 100 years.
The Pulaski Citizen, Giles County’s hometown newspaper, was recognized for 159 years of continuous operation. Since its founding in 1866, the publication has been a vital source of local news, keeping generations of residents informed and connected.
Also honored was Reeves Drug Store, a beloved downtown institution that has been in business for 133 years. In celebration of the milestone, Reeves offered $1.33 ice cream sundaes to customers—a nod to its rich history and ongoing commitment to the community.
Rotary leaders say the new Century Business recognition is designed to honor the endurance, service, and community impact of Giles County’s oldest businesses.
