American Red Cross to team up with Tennessee Titans to encourage blood donations

NASHVILLE, TN (August 27, 2025) – The American Red Cross is teaming up with the Tennessee Titans once again to host an annual blood drive at Nissan Stadium, calling on fans and neighbors to roll up their sleeves and help save lives as the team kicks off its 2025 season.

The blood drive will take place on Tuesday, September 9,  in the Nissan Stadium West Club from 12 – 6 p.m., offering donors a chance to support a critical cause while showing their Titans pride. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments can be scheduled at redcrossblood.org using the sponsor code TITANS.

“Every year, Titans fans show up in force for this event, knowing how important blood donation is to our greater area,” said Josh Corey, Titans Vice President of Cause Marketing. “I can’t think of a better way to kickstart our 2025 season than tackling this need for our community.”

The need for blood is constant. Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. The threat of severe weather and hurricanes remains strong in late summer. Making and keeping donation appointments where it’s safe to do so can help patients when and wherever they need it most.

“Every drop counts, and every donor makes a difference,” said Joel Valdez, Regional Donor Services Executive for the American Red Cross of Tennessee. “We’re proud to partner with the Titans to rally our community around this life-saving mission.”

In addition to the blood drive at the stadium, all donors who give blood between Aug. 29-Sept. 21, 2025, will receive an exclusive Red Cross and PEANUTS® mystery bag with one of four special T-shirt designs, while supplies last.
