Pulaski, TN — June 1st, 2025 — Richland Broadcasting Company is proud to announce the new local ownership of WKSR Radio, a long-standing voice in Giles County. Effective June 1st, WKSR is now under the leadership of husband-and-wife team Kenny Beckman and Morgan Hoover Beckman.
WKSR, known for its classic hits and strong community ties, will continue its tradition of serving Giles County with trusted local news, beloved music, and hometown pride—now with a fresh perspective and a renewed commitment to connection.
This transition is especially meaningful for Morgan Hoover Beckman, a Pulaski native and award-winning journalist whose roots with WKSR run deep. Her grandfather, Corky Hoover, played a meaningful role in the station’s early days and helped shape its legacy in the community. “It’s incredibly special to be stepping into this role,” Morgan said. “To now carry forward a station that’s long been part of my family’s story is an honor I don’t take lightly.”
The legacy of WKSR runs deep in the community, and the Beckmans are committed to preserving its history while guiding it into a vibrant future. From expanding its digital presence to offering new ways for local businesses to engage with listeners, the station is poised for meaningful growth rooted in hometown values.
“We’re invested in this community because it’s our home,” said Kenny Beckman, longtime radio personality and new morning show host. “This station is a part of the fabric of Giles County, and we’re excited to honor that legacy while building new traditions.”
WKSR invites local businesses and community members to be part of this exciting new season. Advertising opportunities, collaborative sponsorships, and live event partnerships are now available.
