Former Vanderbilt University quarterback and Heisman finalist Diego Pavia went undrafted in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Pavia was the first Heisman finalist to go undrafted since Jordan Lynch in 2014. There were a total of 257 picks by the 32 NFL teams this year.
Pavia threw for 3,539 yards with 29 touchdowns in the 2025 season, leading Vanderbilt to a #13 ranking and its first 10-win season at 10-2. He was the AP SEC offensive player of the year, and finished second in the country in total offense, averaging 338.5 yards per game.
But there may be a light at the end of the tunnel for Pavia, he's now a free agent and is reportedly drawing interest from at least three NFL teams. According to Vanderbilt, he’s been invited to the Baltimore Ravens’ rookie minicamp.
