While it may be a longshot in our area, the The Tennessee Highway Patrol is seeking information that may aid in the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run crash in Sumner County.
Preliminary information indicates that a hit-and-run driver struck a pedestrian on Saturday, May 2nd, around 1:15am in Sumner County.
The crash occurred on Hwy 386 (Vietnam Veterans Boulevard) eastbound at mile marker 4 in Hendersonville.
Investigators recovered a passenger side door mirror at the scene matching the make and model of the following vehicles: a 2017–2022 Ford F-250/F-350 or possibly a 2021–2025 Ford F-150.
