This release from the Pulaski Police Department...
On July 25th 2026, Officers with the Pulaski Police Department were dispatched to the 500 block Of Culpepper Street in Pulaski to a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival Officers located a male subject with a gunshot wound. Giles EMS arrived and began lifesaving measures but were unsuccessful. 37 year old Jeremy D’Juan Gardner of Pulaski was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Pulaski Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division was called to process the scene. As a result of the investigation 40 year old Cory Dwain Perry of Pulaski was taken into custody and charged with First Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Armed Dangerous Felonies.
Perry was booked into the Giles County Jail and is being held without bond. Detective Sergeant Keith Crabtree is leading the case and more charges and arrest may be forthcoming.
