This reminder from the Giles County Sheriff's Office....
October is Pedestrian Safety Month, and the Tennessee Highway Safety Office is reminding both drivers and pedestrians to share the road responsibly.
Drivers....Stay alert, put down distractions, and always yield to people in crosswalks.
Pedestrians....Use sidewalks and marked crosswalks whenever available, make eye contact with drivers, and make sure you and your children are visible as it gets dark earlier.
Please, take your time, use common sense, and stay safe this Fall.
