The Tennessee Sheriffs Association has sworn in Sheriff Michael Van Dyke
of Robertson County as President, beginning a new year of leadership for the statewide
organization representing Tennessee's 95 elected sheriffs.
Sheriff Van Dyke took office during the Associations 55th Annual Conference, held in August in
Murfreesboro, where sheriffs and public safety leaders from across Tennessee gathered for
professional training, Association business, policy discussions, and the recognition of
outstanding service to the citizens of Tennessee.
